The School of Medicine will present the Hanna Symposium Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 2 to 9 p.m. in the Biomedical Research Building auditorium. Speakers at the symposium will focus on genome instability and evolution.
The symposium will feature the Hanna Lecture, given by Bernard Dujon, professor at Pasteur Institute, at 4:30 p.m.
The event will also include guest lectures from James Haber, professor of biology at Brandies University, and Philip Hieter, professor at University of British Columbia.
Six local speakers also will present at the symposium.
