School of Medicine receives accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education

Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has received full accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) for the maximum eight-year term—ensuring that:

  • CWRU students benefit from a nationally recognized, high-quality medical education; and
  • Faculty members are supported with the standards and resources needed to strengthen academic programs.

This achievement follows an 18-month self-study process, a comprehensive data report and a three-day site visit earlier this year that included 21 meetings and a tour of the Health Education Campus.

The next accreditation survey is scheduled for the 2032–33 academic year.
