Spend your spring break in Portugal
Looking for a unique way to spend your spring break?
Undergraduate students at Case Western Reserve University are invited to join MGMT 315: Managing in a Global Economy–Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability Abroad and travel to Lisbon, Portugal, for an immersive international learning experience.
In this course, you’ll explore how businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations address some of the world's most pressing social and environmental challenges through innovation and sustainable business practices. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with entrepreneurs, business leaders and organizations in Portugal to learn firsthand how business can be a force for positive change.
Through company visits, conversations with local leaders, cultural experiences, and hands-on learning, you will also gain a deeper understanding of social entrepreneurship and sustainability in a global context. Along the way, you'll experience Portuguese culture, explore the vibrant city of Lisbon and develop new perspectives on the role of business in society.
No prior experience in sustainability or entrepreneurship is required—just curiosity, an interest in global challenges and a willingness to learn.
