October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and the Office of Information Security is bringing the campus community a month of games, tips, resources and activities to help strengthen Case Western Reserve University’s security culture.
Throughout the month, follow the office’s Cyber Tuesday series featuring practical guidance on:
- Password hygiene;
- Phishing and social engineering;
- Device and data protection; and
- Safe online behavior.
Join the Cybersecurity Scavenger Hunt
Test your cybersecurity knowledge by participating in the Office of Information Security’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month Scavenger Hunt, running from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 at 11:59 p.m.
Participants who successfully complete the scavenger hunt will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2. Winners will also have their photo taken and featured in CWRU cybersecurity awareness communications.
In addition, there will be a separate drawing for 100 participants, with each winner receiving a 10,000 mAh power bank.
