Take professional development training sessions before summer starts

Advance your career with confidence with help from the Professional Development Center (PDC), which offers free resources available to help faculty and staff get ahead.

A few opportunities remain for faculty and staff to participate in a training workshop this spring. Workshops pause for the summer semester so sign up via the HR Professional Development Center in CampusGroups page for the following workshops:

  • Pronoun Workshop: Wednesday, May 8, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Overcoming the Imposter Phenomenon: Thursday, May 9, 11 a.m. to noon
  • Shaping Workplace Culture (in-person workshop): Friday, May 10, 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Performance Management Process: Monday, May 13, 11 a.m. to noon
  • Religious Accommodations at CWRU: Tuesday, May 14, 11 a.m. to noon
  • Hybrid Work Culture & Management: Thursday, May 16, 1 to 2 p.m.
  • Compensation Guidance: Monday, May 20, 2 to 3 p.m.
  • Managing Difficult Conversations at Work (in-person workshop): Thursday, May 23, 1 to 2 p.m.

Faculty and staff members also are welcome to help the PDC plan future programming. Take a survey to inform training delivery and content.
