School of Medicine students Elliot Crooks, Sean Li and Pratheek Makineni earned third place in an international, neurosurgery-focused pitch competition (mission:brain Hackathon) hosted by Harvard Medical School.
The competition involved more than 200 participants from over 50 countries. The Case Western Reserve University team pitched NeuroCheck, a toll-free phone service that allows automated history-taking for neurosurgical patients, connecting them with a global network of physicians for risk assessment and recommendation.
