Interested in learning about national scholarships and fellowships? Whether you are searching for funding sources or a way to build your resume and distinguish yourself from your peers, learning about these special opportunities is worth your time. Information sessions on national fellowship and scholarships will be held:
  • Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 5 to 6 p.m. in Sears Building, Room 480
  • Friday, Feb. 5, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Sears Building, Room 372
These sessions will provide an overview of what opportunities students have and how to get started in the process. Eligibility requirements and application processes for the Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, Goldwater, Boren and Truman Scholarships, as well as many others, will be covered. Come learn what it takes to win one of these prestigious awards and what you need to start doing now to increase your chances. Amanda A. McCarthy, assistant dean of undergraduate studies and national scholarships and fellowships adviser, will be your guide.
