The Orchestrating Multifaceted Engineering for Growing Artificial Joints (OMEGA) project’s Engagement and Accessibility team at Case Western Reserve University is conducting a community health survey to gather valuable insights from those living with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee or chronic knee pain. This is a great opportunity for individuals to share their experiences by answering a short questionnaire about their diagnosis, treatment options, and relationships with their healthcare providers.
The survey aims to:
- Understand the experience of individuals in the community
- Assess the knowledge of an individual’s osteoarthritis diagnosis
- Evaluate the effectiveness of various treatment options
Participation in the community health survey will help the OMEGA Engagement and Accessibility team identify and address gaps in OA awareness and care. The data collected will be pivotal in improving resources to manage OA of the knee.
