At Case Western Reserve University, our post-baccalaureate programs are designed to equip you with the competitive edge to strengthen your medical school applications. Whether you need to enhance your academic rigor, improve your MCAT score or complete your pre-med requirements, a post-bacc program can make all the difference as you prepare for your medical career.

What to Expect

Choose from one of our AAMC-accredited post-bacc programs:

  • Post-baccalaureate Readiness Instruction for bioMedical Education (PRIME) Certificate
  • MS in Applied Anatomy
  • MS in Medical Physiology
  • MS in Pathology (Molecular & Cellular Biology of Disease)

No matter which program you select, you’ll have access to personalized faculty advising, professional development and hands-on experiences with our world-class healthcare partners. You’ll start in fall, spring or summer, finish your degree in one to two years and graduate with the education you need to pursue an MD, DO, DMD or DDS.

  • Unofficial transcripts
  • Test scores (optional) for MCAT, GRE or DAT
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • International applicants: Results of TOEFL or IELTS exam (not required for students matriculating from a school taught in English)
