Master of Science

About the Program

Discover Ohio's first two-year master's-level program focused on regenerative medicine and entrepreneurship. As a student, you can access the latest clinical and research facilities along with small biotechnology companies in the network of the National Center for Regenerative Medicine. Learn from bonafide leaders in the field of regenerative medicine and cell-based therapy development from six nationally ranked, medical research powerhouses, including Case Western Reserve University. You'll prepare for roles in academic, commercial and clinical settings that support cellular manufacturing, biotechnology innovation, legal compliance, financial analysis, venture capital, and business development activities.

What to Expect

Train to solve modern regenerative medicine, commercial and compliance problems, within both individual business ventures and the marketplace. Through coursework in business and management as well as advanced regenerative medicine, you'll tackle complex business problems with creative solutions harnessing emotional intelligence, teamwork, communication, creativity and cultural awareness.

Most importantly, you'll focus on the cutting-edge research techniques and business practices needed to succeed in today’s biomedical and translational science industries.

World-renowned faculty, small class sizes, career advising and hands-on stem cell research experiences offer the individualized support you need to succeed. Plus, you'll benefit from experts and opportunities at CWRU, Cleveland Cord Blood Center, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth Medical Center, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and the Ohio State University.

Finally, you can complete elective courses through the School of Law to receive the Law and Entrepreneurial Skills Certificate in addition to your MS degree.
