Mandel School Statement on Antisemitism

Dear Mandel School community,

There has been a rise in antisemitic attacks worldwide since 2018. The Mandel School recognizes the unique experiences and threats faced by Jewish members of our community and denounces all acts of antisemitism.

Antisemitism has no place in our backyard or society—violence or any other form of discrimination against an individual or group directly conflicts with Case Western Reserve's core values. Yet, achieving our goals of diversity and inclusion requires far more than ending abhorrent acts and behavior. Such work requires deep reflection and, at times, difficult conversations. We must engage with one another, seek to understand and be understood, and act in meaningful, measurable ways to become the kind of inclusive campus community we know we can be.

Visit the university's Race and Justice website for more information and resources. If you have questions or comments for CWRU leadership, please submit them via this form.
