Commercial Development
Commercial Development manages the University’s commercial real estate activities including strategic planning, redevelopment, commercial leasing, property transactions, asset management, and financing structures.
The primary focus of Commercial Development is the implementation and oversight of the Uptown project. Uptown is a substantial shopping, entertainment, and residential district with critical mass to serve the University’s students, faculty, and staff, as well as the University Circle area’s residents, employees, and visitors.
The combination of existing retail and apartment living with this new mixed-use development provides the University a powerful and vibrant center, a recognizable and significant retail core which can attract an even greater number of high caliber students, faculty, and staff.
Commercial Leasing
The University owns retail, office and commercial property located on or adjacent to campus.
