The Mandel School is proud to present the Advocating for Equity Speaker Spotlight Series. This series affords students the opportunity to listen to and engage with prominent local, regional and national leaders across the country to understand the value and strategies of social work advocacy in meeting the equity needs of oppressed communities.
Through one-hour interviews with prominent advocates, students gain a personal and first-hand account of the strategies, successes and obstacles associated with effective advocacy as well as learn about a specific population and/or social problem that social workers can address.
1 CEU/PD Hour is available per interview.
