Day of Giving 2021

All in Together Day of Giving

Join Case Western Reserve University and the Mandel School on Tuesday, June 8, as we go ALL IN Together to celebrate our ninth annual Day of Giving.

Day of Giving empowers alumni, students, faculty, staff, family and friends from across the globe to go #CWRUALLinTogether to support academic success, student scholarships, research, emergency student funds, COVID-19-related initiatives and more!

Schools and departments are seeking support for various efforts to make both immediate and long-lasting impacts across the university such as:

  • Expanding educational access to students through scholarships,
  • Addressing student emergencies in real time,
  • Embracing diversity, inclusion and equity, and
  • Committing to a better future for the CWRU community.

The Day of Giving is a campaign that works only through the collective support of the campus community. When you support the Mandel School, you are ensuring our students have the resources they need to be successful throughout their university experience.

A special named fund has been created to recognize Dean Gilmore's legacy to provide scholarship support for Mandel students. Should this endowed fund reach $1 million, the annual income will provide full tuition for one student per year in perpetuity.

The Louis Stokes Fellowship in Community Development Scholarship Fund

In honor of Louis Stokes' outstanding achievements and his dedication to the advancement of minority students and communities in Cleveland, the Stokes Fellowship provides one full tuition award per year to an exceptional under-represented minority student. It encourages working minority professionals to seek the education and leadership tools they need to make a real, lasting impact on their communities. The Stokes Fellows are part of the Mandel School's Leadership Fellows Program.

The Mandel School Leadership Fellows

This cutting-edge program presently provides full tuition for seven exceptionally-qualified, highly-motivated candidates who are interested in leadership, best-practice approaches to human service delivery and community practice, and making a positive influence in the world.  This is a highly sought-after program that we would like to expand to include more students.

MNO/CNM Nonprofit Leaders Scholarship Fund
