Mark Chupp, associate professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, recently served as a guest editor on a themed volume on the intersection of community-based research and asset-based community development.
The volume, published in Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement, explores if these two methodologies—one of which emerged from higher education and the other from community practice—can be combined to create equitable and sustainable change.
