The Campus Assessment, Referral and Engagement (CARE) Team is an interdisciplinary team of University professionals representing various campus offices and resources. The goal of the CARE Team is to provide direct support and referral coordination for CWRU students who are exhibiting behaviors that indicate distress, need help identifying and accessing basic needs resources, cause a disturbance in the community, and/or present a danger to oneself or others. Recognizing that students' concerns are multifaceted, the CARE Team utilizes a collaborative approach to connect students to individualized resources that fit their unique needs and follows up regularly to ensure those needs are being addressed.
Students, parents, faculty, staff, and other community members can identify students that may need additional support by submitting an online CARE Report.
Online CARE Reports will be reviewed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Care Reports submitted after hours, weekends or holidays will be reviewed on the next business day.
