Weatherhead listed in top 50 schools for MBA graduates earning highest income over a lifetime

Weatherhead School of Management's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is listed in Poets&Quants’ top 50 business schools where graduates earn the highest income over a lifetime.

The analysis done for Poets&Quants by PayScale, which collects salary data from individuals through online pay comparison tools, shows that the MBA delivers a seven-figure income across a post-MBA lifetime. 

“MBA graduates from the top 50 business schools in the U.S., in fact, will pull down median cash compensation of $5.7 million after graduating and working for 35 years,” the Poets&Quants article stated. 

Weatherhead MBA graduate’s early career median pay is listed as $86,400; its estimated 20-year earnings are $2,320,000; and the estimated lifetime earnings are $5,230,000.

PayScale collected data from MBA graduates at the top 50 U.S. schools to find the estimated median pay for each school. The list of schools is made up of 2,390 graduates with a median sample of 41 salary profiles per school. Data leveraged in the report was collected between April 2018 and April 2021.
