Scholarship SupportDate Released: 20 March 2015
Since 2007, applications for enrollment to Case Western Reserve University have tripled. While the enrollment rate has remained roughly the same, the university has become more selective in the caliber of student admitted. The challenge for CWRU is offering a financial aid package that compares to those packages offered by peer institutions.
Eighty-three percent of undergraduate students receive some form of financial assistance from CWRU, ranking the university third among AAU private universities. However, most AAU private universities are able to meet 100 percent of student need through institutional support but CWRU is not there yet. The good news is your can help. A new campaign to raise funds for scholarship support launched in Fall 2014. The Shared Scholarship Fund was created with one fund for each of the four undergraduate schools, with an additional general university fund. Gifts made to those accounts will be pooled together and go directly toward providing immediate tuition relief for incoming students for the following academic year. Every dollar counts and can help make a person’s dream of attending CWRU a reality. Please visit our secure giving page to make a gift to one of the Shared Scholarship Funds.
