Ohio residents can begin their college educations early by enrolling in College Credit Plus at Case Western Reserve University. College Credit Plus allows you to earn college credit at CWRU and be a part of our world-renowned community before high school graduation. 

College Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7 to 12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities.

As a College Credit Plus student at CWRU, you’ll take courses with our undergraduate students, who are among the brightest in the nation, and you’ll learn from esteemed faculty who are tops in their fields.

Taking part in College Credit Plus at CWRU allows you to expand your understanding in your areas of academic interest and to challenge yourself by learning about new fields at one of the nation's top universities.

How to apply

On the online application, you’ll be asked to share a bit about yourself and select up to five courses of interest to take at CWRU.

Get started by searching the CWRU course schedule to find classes that meet your interests.

Upon completion of the online application, you'll be asked to share the following documents with the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

  • Unofficial high school and college transcripts
  • Guidance counselor form
  • Mature content permission slip, signed by a parent or guardian
