CHSL Services During COVID-19 Shutdown

All CWRU campus libraries are currently closed. The staff of the Cleveland Health Sciences Library continue to be available to able to help support your information needs virtually. 

Electronic Resources:  All e-resource (e-journals, e-books, e-databases) are available.  Access from off campus requires use of VPN

Research Assistance: Librarians are available to conduct virtual research consultations by chat, phone or Zoom.

You can rely on us to provide: 

·       Instruction and orientations

·       Reference

·       Literature search support

·       Resource inquiry (do we have access to...?)

·       Interlibrary Loan (electronic resources only)

·       Course Reserves management

·       Faculty support

Depending on our workload and the demand for remote assistance, we may also be able to provide support systematic review services.

Interlibrary Loan and OhioLINK:  All borrowing of physical items (e.g., books) via OhioLINK and interlibrary loan is suspended until further notice.  We will attempt to fulfill requests for articles or chapters that can be delivered directly to you electronically, but since many other universities in Ohio and the country are closed, we cannot guarantee when these requests might be filled.

Overdue Material: Until the library reopens, please keep books and other materials you previously checked-out, and rest assured that all fines and late fees accrued after March 16 will be waived.
