The CHSL Team is Growing!

We would like to introduce you to our newest Education, Instruction and Outreach librarians, Stephanie Diaz, MLIS and Melissa Pulis, MLIS.  They, and all your CHSL librarians are here to support you as you pursue your education, research and clinical practice.

Stephanie Diaz, Education, Instruction and Outreach LibrarianStephanie Diaz, MLIS comes to us the Pennsylvania State University. Stephanie has over 12 years of experience teaching information literacy and promoting student engagement in academic libraries. Her research and scholarship include understanding academic library outreach and promoting critical appraisal skills among undergraduate nursing students. An Ohio native, Stephanie is excited to return to the area, explore Cleveland, and begin a new chapter in her career as a health sciences librarian. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Lottie, cat Libby, and going to the movies.

Melissa Pulis, Education, Instruction and Outreach LibrarianMelissa Pulis, MLIS comes to us from the Candid (formerly The Foundation Center) Cleveland library, as manager of its virtual reference and online educational resources. Melissa’s journey to medical librarianship was sparked by a life-altering health crisis, driving her desire to devote her career to the service of future medical professionals.  As a proud former CWRU employee and alum, Melissa’s thrilled to be back on campus.
