Renewing materials
CWRU and OhioLINK materials
By using My Library Account, you may renew your materials borrowed from libraries at CWRU as well as materials borrowed from OhioLINK institutions. Provided there are no holds on the materials and as long as these materials are normal 21 day loan materials, you may renew CWRU materials up to four more times and OhioLINK materials up to six more times. Faculty loan periods vary for both CWRU and for OhioLINK materials. Should you not be able to do this online, please contact the Circulation Department at the Allen Memorial Medical Library at 216.368.3643 or at the Health Education Campus Library at 216.368.4540, during regular business hours.
Interlibrary Loan materials
If you have borrowed materials through the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan System, you may login and renew the materials yourself. Should you not be able to do this online, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Department at 216.368.6424 during regular business hours.
Fines and Fees
Overdue materials
For materials borrowed from CWRU or from OhioLINK, courtesy overdue notices are sent by email to the @case.edu address. The library is not responsible for late or unreceived courtesy email notices. Please check your library account frequently to be aware of the materials you have borrowed.
When materials become overdue and/or can no longer be renewed, fines and fees are assessed if they have not been returned. The fines and fees vary depending on the type and source of the materials.
The table below is not an all-inclusive list. Other fees and fines may apply. The library reserves the right to determine what materials are appropriate as replacements in the case of lost or damaged items. Refunds are not available if paid items are later found. Library privileges are suspended if account fines total $15.00.
