Further Your Engineering Career With Our Bachelor’s Degree
Degree: Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Major: Computer Engineering
Case School of Engineering’s Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program with a major in Computer Engineering is designed to give you solid training in mathematics, physics and computer engineering. Plus, we aim to teach the professional and leadership skills that will help you excel in your career.
Computer engineering combines computer science with electrical engineering. Learn to work at both the microscopic level and system-wide scale to understand the mind and body of a computer.
In Case Western Reserve University's program, you’ll research, design, develop and test computer systems and components—such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks and routers.
As a graduate of this program, you will be able to effectively analyze and evaluate computer systems—both hardware and software. This includes systems with designs that require a well-defined interface between the two and the evaluation of the associated trade-offs.
Computer engineering graduates typically have some of the highest starting salaries in engineering, entering a range of industries such as financial services, computer manufacturing, chemicals, defense, consulting, transportation, manufacturing, and consumer goods.
