HoloAnatomy® Software Suite finally makes its beginning in Eastern Europe at the Jagiellonian University located in Krakow, Poland. Jagiellonian University is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe giving rise to world famous scholars, such as Nicolaus Copernicus, and Karol Olszewski.
Jagiellonian University School of Medicine developed rapidly from 1994 to educate nearly 700 medical and dental students annually coming from five different continents and twenty countries. JU Medical college carries out research in many different medical fields and their findings have been published in many prestigious international journals (i.e., European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Medicine, New England Journal of Medicine and Lancet).

Using HoloAnatomy® Software has signficantly affected the interdisciplinary and collaborative aspects of medicine because each research center at Jagiellonian University has their own habits and a different vision for medical education. Everyone can indicate their values in the implementation of advanced medical education in 3D. This makes it possible to change and enhance the learning perspective.
My first meeting with HoloAnatomy® was in 2019 during my visit to Case Western Reserve Univerity, when I was inspired by the solution and started the process of preparing a grant from which I could cover the costs of purchasing the software.
We use new technologies, such as HoloAnatomy® Software due to the ease of use and to engage our students. The possibility of observing spatial relations makes it possible to identify anatomical organs in atypical, different modality and with 3D visualization.
