Pioneering genomic approaches for querying epigenetics and transcriptional regulation on metabolic alteration (Insulin resistance, Type2 diabetes and Cardiovascular disease) induced by air pollution in animal models. My focus is on to identify the role of chromatin dynamics and transcriptional changes associated with metabolic dysregulation upon air pollution exposure and integrating multidisciplinary approaches involving circadian rhythm, biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology, along with next generation sequencing and bioinformatics.
