Dr. Pedro Salerno's is primary focus is on the intersection of air pollution, sociodemographic factors, and environmental influences in relation to cardiometabolic health outcomes. Dr. Salerno employs spatial and machine learning models to gain deeper insights into exposomics' role in shaping health outcomes. He has a track record of contributing to research publications on topics such as cardio-oncology, air pollution, and Alzheimer's disease, aiming to increase the visibility of non-traditional risk factors to facilitate the reduction of health disparities.
