Clinical Research Services
The Imaging Research Core also provides access to state-of-the-art clinical research imaging systems as well.
- Comprehensive MR imaging research services
- Dedicated Siemens Skyra 3T MRI scanner
- Large animal preclinical studies, or clinical human research may be conducted
- Structural and functional brain scanning can be performed with the Avotec LCD Projection System
- Coodination of access to PET and CT scanners for additional preclinical and human imaging studies
Radiopharmaceutical Development
To support nuclear imaging research, the Core also includes a state-of-the-art PET radiopharmaceutical core facility. Core staff provide radiochemistry synthesis
- To support PET scan studies including [11C] and [18F] labeling of standard tracers
- To label additional precursors specific to your particular study needs
