I’m a Research Data Scientist at the Cardiovascular Research Institute, CWRU School of Medicine. I have a Master’s in Data Science from Northeastern University, and my work focuses on predictive modeling, survival analysis, and AI-driven research in cardiovascular health. My research explores the intersection of clinical risk assessment, environmental factors, and cardiovascular outcomes. I specialize in analyzing CAC scores, diabetes, and ASCVD risk stratification, with a particular focus on discrepancies in risk prediction models like PREVENT. I also investigate the impact of environmental exposures - such as microplastics and air pollution - on Cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, I work on cost-effectiveness analysis in cardiovascular interventions, such as evaluating lifetime low-dose colchicine, semaglutide(GLP-1) for secondary prevention after CABG surgery. My projects also leverage geospatial data, SafeGraph mobility insights, and genetic risk stratification to better understand cardiovascular disease progression.
