Julia Knopes (BA Washington & Jefferson College, MA Univ. of Chicago) is a PhD candidate in medical anthropology at Case Western Reserve University, where she also serves as the administrative coordinator for MSC. Her research explores professional role performance amongst medical students in the United States, drawing on science and technology studies (STS) and ethnographic methods. She is passionate about the inclusion of humanities and social sciences into training for the health professions.
