3D models representing neuron morphology can be visualized by performing 3D reconstruction and 3D rendering for fluorescent confocal images, which provides accurate and complete characterizations for the many subtle difference that arise between a mutant and wild type samples. Depending on demands, we can reconstruct single neuron with sub-micron resolution or large neuron system with feature size of millimeters.
