Building Blocks: How CWRU’s campus has evolved since 2010
As CWRU celebrates 200 years, its evolving campus tells a story of momentum and impact. Since 2010, 14 new buildings, transformative renovations and new public green spaces have reshaped our landscape.
They range from the soon-to-open $300 million Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building on the Case Quad, the university's single-largest investment in its research enterprise, to the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center, a complex that involved both new construction and the renovation of the historic Temple-Tifereth Israel; from development of the Health Education Campus with Cleveland Clinic and new ways for healthcare students to learn together to the creation of the 2,200-foot-long Nord Family Greenway connecting CWRU’s main and west campuses with new expansive public walkways.
The transformed and new spaces reflect extensive investments in the university’s mission and the future it continues to build.
