Host or observe faculty colleagues in the classroom to exchange teaching techniques
Have you ever wondered what your colleagues are doing in their classes? Curious about how other disciplines are taught? Looking to improve your student engagement? Or do you want to share your active learning techniques with your colleagues?
If so, consider participating in TOTEs (Teachers Observing Teachers Experiences). This popular University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) program provides faculty with opportunities to engage with one another in active classroom learning environments as members of a pedagogical community. Faculty members are invited to be hosts and open their classrooms to your peers in the spirit of sharing their passion for teaching and commitment to student learning, or sign up to be a faculty observer and learn new things to implement in your own classes. Or, if your time permits, do both!
TOTEs will take place during the spring semester during the week of Feb. 23–27.
Registration is now open; sign up to be a host or indicate your interest in being an observer.
