WEWS: Commenting on a former corrections officer charged with killing a deputy, Michael Benza, professor of practice at the School of Law, said her resignation letter raises “significant concerns” about mental health and suggests “somebody whose life appears to be unraveling.” He noted grievances against law enforcement could be relevant and said mental health may become central to the defense.
