Learn what to expect at the 2026 Benefits & Wellness Fair
Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff are encouraged to mark their calendars for the CWRU 2026 Benefits & Wellness Fair. Hosted by the Department of Human Resources, this in-person event will focus on the theme “Thrive 200–Legacy of Wellbeing.”
This fair, which will take place in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will offer attendees the opportunity to take a break and learn about employee benefits while meeting with vendors and participating schools.
Faculty and staff will have the opportunity to connect with trusted benefits and wellness partners who support healthy, thriving lives. There will also be a virtual fair Nov. 2–6 featuring vendor booths and presentations.
On-site health screenings and services
In addition to free flu vaccines and relaxing chair massages, attendees who attend the in-person 2026 Benefits & Wellness Fair can take advantage of the following specialized health stops:
- CWRU School of Dental Medicine: Visit their table for a free oral health screening. Dental students, guided by periodontics and oral surgery residents, will conduct intraoral and extraoral screenings and share tips on oral health and the importance of regular oral cancer screening. Meet the staff and learn about comprehensive, on-campus dental services with fees approximately 40% lower than those in private practice. The first 100 employees to visit the table will receive a goodie bag.
- Apex skin checks: Have a licensed provider examine a spot or area of concern in a quick 5-10 minute spot check. This screening is free for anyone who attends the fair, and no insurance is taken or required for the on-site check. If needed, the provider will share findings and assist in scheduling a follow-up appointment at a convenient Apex Skin location (insurance only comes into play for the follow-up).
Employees are also encouraged to take time to invest in their mental health by attending the "Gratitude That Works: Practical Strategies for Well-being, Connection, and Resilience" workshop. To find more information about these offerings and register for the workshop or chair massage, visit the University Wellness webpage.
