STORY BY: EDITORIAL STAFF
If you’ve ever wondered how long you should keep that bottle of cumin in your cupboard, or struggled with creating healthy meals on a tight budget, the Case Western Reserve University Wellness Program has your answers. The wellness program will offer an eight-week class titled “Nutrition Action” on Tuesdays at noon starting June 5 in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room. There will not be a class Tuesday, July 3. Ease@Work instructor Sharon Zwick-Hamilton will lead the course, covering a wide variety of nutrition topics in a fun and informative way. Topics addressed during the course will include:
  • Nutrition action for disease prevention;
  • Eating for a healthy and energetic life;
  • Functional and medicinal foods; and
  • The low-stress diet.
