International Student Advisory Council Overview
The International Student Advisory Council (ISAC) was established to improve support for and engagement with international students at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).
The council includes undergraduate and graduate student representatives of the international student body who work on projects within the Office of International Student Resources and Engagement (OISRE) to hone their leadership skills and engage with the campus community to increase outreach and advocacy.
In order for the ISAC to be truly representative of the international student body, OISRE selects applicants from across campus and as many of the various nationalities on campus as possible.
Once the ISAC members are selected each year OISRE staff provides guidance and makes recommendations about the areas of focus, but also empowers members to suggest and investigate other opportunities.
