Teamwork Workshop
Tuesday, May 2, 2023
12:00-5:00pm
High-impact teamwork leads to better work performance, more innovation, better job satisfaction, and
enhanced professional development opportunities. Yet understaffing, work overload, personnel turnovers, personality conflicts, and other challenges make effective teamwork a significant challenge. To help you improve your teamwork skills and contributions to your teams, the Administrative Professionals Network partnered with the Office of Interprofessional and Interdisciplinary Education and Research to host a Teamwork Workshop for Case Western Reserve University staff.
In this workshop, participants learned about the four dimensions of high-impact teamwork, the importance of team mindedness and shared mental models, structured communication tools for effective communication within and across departments and schools, emotional intelligence and its importance in teamwork, and ways to foster psychological safety in order to build team solidarity.
