Choreographer Pam Tanowitz was in residency at Mather Dance Center

Internationally acclaimed choreographer Pam Tanowitz was in residency at Mather Dance Center from Sept. 13 – 20, 2019 to create a new work for the graduate dance students.  During the residency she created a 10 minute dance to a score for piano and violin.  The work will be featured on the fall production Avanti at Mather Dance Center, November 1, 2 and 7 – 9 at 8:00 pm and November 3 at 2:30 pm.  Her assistant, Lindsey Jones taught master classes to all dance majors to round out the residency.
