Our Mission
The mission of the Program for Autism Education and Research is to coordinate basic, clinical, translational and interdisciplinary research across a consortium of institutions.
Our Goals
- To facilitate translation of discoveries in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) research into clinical practice by fostering integration and cross-fertilization among ASD research and treatment programs at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
- To create new opportunities for basic, translational and clinical research in ASD by capitalizing on the combined strengths of researchers and clinicians at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
- To support development of multi-center research programs at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, MetroHealth, and affiliated community resources.
- Provision of educational and training venues for graduate and post-doctoral scholars.
