Carla Curtis, a Georgia native, earned her bachelor’s degree from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. She earned a master’s degree in School Counseling Psychology from Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley Georgia.

Carla grew up with a love of sports and education instilled within her at an early age. She was an avid participant of the Presidential Physical Fitness Challenges. Her love of education includes working as a GED teacher for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Academic Coordinator of Case Western Reserve University’s Upward Bound Program, and as a student advisor for the Student Support Services program at Cuyahoga Community College.

Currently, Carla serves as the Manager of Youth Outreach Programs for Case Western Reserve University's National Youth Sports Program.
