International Travel

A group of CWRU students studying abroad in Zimbabwe

Case Western Reserve University community members are required to report their travel in advance of university-related international travel. Learn more in the International Travel Risk Management Policy. International travel reporting fulfills federal compliance obligations, enables alerts when travel is to countries with limited university insurance coverage, and enhances the university's ability to publicize our global impact and foster connections to expand that impact.

Employee International Travel

CWRU policy requires that all employees report their work-related international travel. All work-related international travel must be reported prior to departure. Each traveler must submit the form separately, even if multiple individuals are traveling together on the same itinerary.

Student International Travel

All Case Western Reserve students participating in academic travel must register through the Office of Education Abroad. Examples of academic travel include: international travel for a conference, internship/externship, research opportunity, co-curricular travel on behalf of a CWRU organization, etc.
