Scholars can fulfill credit toward the outreach requirement by volunteering with David's Outreach, a nonprofit 501c(3) organization created for the purpose of addressing the various social, educational and economic needs of children and young adults in Cuyahoga County. Students propose and and execute an alternative plan for outreach to an underserved community, obtaining agreement of the community, of their PhD supervisor, and of the IQBP director.
