The Center for the Advancement of Medical Learning (CAML) was created in 2006 with the mission of supporting the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine community in its pursuit of excellence in learning, teaching, and educational scholarship.
To achieve these aims, CAML offers a range of activities and services for faculty, staff and students:
- Faculty workshops to promote the development of teaching and life-long learning skills;
- Evaluation of individual teaching efforts and of curricular programs;
- Consultation on medical education research projects; and
- Act as a resource for medical educators to engage with the educational community, learn about opportunities in teaching, mentoring and research, and stay current on the latest innovations in medical education.
