Hi! My name is Asma Abukar and I am from Columbus, OH. In 2021, I graduated from Capital University with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in biology. While in undergrad, I worked as a CNA on a neurology/EMU unit which greatly/mentor influenced my decision to go to PA school. During this time, I also volunteered as a tutor for students K-12. I love teaching and I personally understood how navigating one’s way through school could be difficult, especially for first-generation students. In my free time, I enjoy baking, skating, and spending time with my family and friends.
