Hi! My name is Michael Crookshanks and I attended the College of Wooster where I obtained my B.A. in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences. During my time at Wooster, I did extensive research in neurodegenerative disorders with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease. Prior to joining the CWRU PA program, I worked for the Cleveland Clinic in clinical trials research. In that time I worked in their electrophysiology section of cardiovascular medicine conducting clinical trials involving patients with atrial fibrillation. During this time I realized my true passion was being directly involved in the care plans for patients. Up until graduating from Wooster I was a competitive swimmer for 18 years and enjoyed being a part of my college’s swimming and diving team. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and hiking across the U.S.!
