HI! My name is Sam Swanseger. I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. In 2013 I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration. Prior to moving to Cleveland, I gained valuable experience that has shaped me into who I am today. As an EMT and lifeguard supervisor at Presque Isle State Park, I was responsible for running the ambulance in the park and ensuring the safety of all park visitors on and off the beach. I also worked as a phlebotomist at UPMC Hamot Hospital in downtown Erie, PA. During the summer of 2018, I began my journey into the PA Program at Case Western, taking prerequisites at Cuyahoga Community College and working full-time as an EMT at Physicians Ambulance. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the Metroparks, trying new foods, and attending local sporting events as much as I can.
