Hi there! My name is Somil Mehta, and I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in General Biological Sciences in December of 2018. During my time at the University of Maryland, I gained clinical experience in a variety of medical settings. My experiences include a two-week medical brigade to Cusco, Peru; Research Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NIH); Medical Assistant at Advanced Medical Care; and Physical Therapy Aide at Maryland Orthopedic Specialists. Upon graduating a semester early, I worked as a Dermatology Technician at Montgomery Dermatology Associates for two years before I started the CWRU PA Program. I’ve loved working in this wide range of specialties, and through each of these experiences, I’ve strengthened my passion for interacting with people. In my free time, I enjoy weight lifting, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
