Twelve students from the Cleveland School of Science and Medicine, a portfolio school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, have been visiting Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine to participate in a month long Cardiovascular Inquiry Seminar Series (CISS). Hosted in the new Health Education Campus, the high school students experience informative lectures with mock patient interviews designed and delivered by current medical students. The Cleveland School of Science and Medicine, one of the innovative programs in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, hosted the first year class of 36 physician assistants from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine on Thursday, October 25th, 2018.
