Dr. Beth Ricanati received her BA in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania and her MD from Case Western Reserve University in 1997. She completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. Beth spent 10 years in practice at the Columbia Presbyterian’s Women’s Health Center, the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Women’s Health, and the Cleveland Clinic’s Wellness Institute. At the Clinic’s Wellness Institute’s, she partnered with Dr. Mike Roizen to launch a pioneering lifestyle modification program called Lifestyle180. Lifestyle 180 was a disciplined program that utilized nutrition, physical fitness, and stress management to improve outcomes for patients with multiple health risk factors. (e.g. diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and hypertension). Beth and her family moved to Santa Monica, CA in 2010. Since then, she has leveraged her women’s health and lifestyle modification experience as a women’s health and wellness consultant on a range of projects, primarily involving mass media.
