Justin is an exercise physiologist and research associate at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in the Department of Pediatrics. He received both his Bachelor of Science in sports science and his Master of Science in exercise physiology from The Ohio University.

Justin currently coordinates the human performance laboratory at CWRU under the direction of Mitchell Drumm, PhD in the Department of Pediatrics and has authored and co-authored many published abstracts and manuscripts. Clinically, he conducts all of the diagnostic exercise studies at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (RB&C) in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology. Justin also teaches exercise physiology and macronutrient metabolism in the Department of Nutrition at CWRU.

Additionally, he teaches exercise physiology concepts and practical laboratories to undergraduate, graduate, medical students and fellows in several different departments at RB&C. Building off of his interest in cardiology, Justin is also a clinical field specialist for St. Jude Medical in the cardiac rhythm management division. In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing the drums and cooking.
